New Sector! Cocina Caliente!

The new sector we have been working on over the road is now all done. Thanks to everyone who has helped with development of this crag, especially to Ben and Paul for the huge number of hours they put into cleaning!

Some of the routes can be accessed from the top (with caution!) so it is possible to set a few top-ropes without leading if you want to.

All equipped with new chains. All bolts, hangers and chains have been paid for through the kind donations of Rockfax and everyone who has stayed at the Olive Branch over the season, thanks to everyone who has supported the cause!

Sector Clampadres update

Sector Clampadres, Encantadas.
Approach from the base of 'Redders' and 'Sarah'. Two routes - 6c and 6c+, 35m

1. Tienes Almejas Bonitas F6c 35m. (E. Bachini 2013)

2. Viernes de Almeja F6c+ 35m. (T.Ireson 2013)

Access route is tricky - worth wearing a harness and clipping the in-situ rope.

Room on first ledge for three people and on second ledge for two.

Both routes share last bolt and anchor.
